Principal - Church Hill Middle School job summary

Central Region Schools Trust (CRST) is seeking to appoint a Principal to lead Church Hill Middle School, ensuring all pupils receive an exceptional education. The Principal will drive the strategic development and direction of the school, working closely with the Executive Principal and the school leadership team.

Church Hill is a vibrant and improving school recently judged ‘Good’ June 2024 by Ofsted. The School shares a site with Abbeywood First School, one of it’s main feeder schools, also Ofsted rated ‘Good’. This is a very exciting time to join the team at Church Hill and Central Region Schools Trust. We are keen to recruit a Principal who embodies our mission of ‘Social Justice through Exceptional Schools’. You must have a passion for working in areas of high deprivation and be dedicated to improving the life chance of all our pupils.

At Church Hill we are proud of our school and our team of staff, parents, volunteers and governors who work tirelessly to ensure our children are happy and excited about their learning. There are currently 465 pupils on roll and the school is oversubscribed. We ensure we have the best conditions for personal and academic growth; a place for children and adults alike to thrive.

You will be joining the Central Region Schools Trust — an established Multi-Academy Trust originally founded by the Royal Society of Arts (RSA). With a consistent legacy of enhancing lives, our vision of 'social justice through exceptional schools' seamlessly aligns with the RSA's mission, driving us to elevate educational excellence throughout our schools.

The successful candidate will receive mentoring/line management from the Executive Principal and coaching would be provided. They would be joining the Senior Trust Leaders network, part of CRST - a well regarded Trust - and benefit from Central Services on HR, Finance, IT & Data, Estates and Governance.

Further information about the Trust can be found on our website at Central Region Schools Trust – Founded by the RSA.

Interested candidates should contact Angela Crawley (Executive Principal) to discuss the role and arrange potential visits - 01527 962794 or via office@churchhill.worcs.sch.uk. There will be the opportunity to talk to other Trust Principals prior to application.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate is required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check with Children's barred list.
