About us

Greenwood Academies Trust is looking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Principal to expertly lead, grow and inspire the Corby Primary Academy community through its next phase of development.

Corby Primary Academy is a thriving GAT academy in Oakley Vale, Corby serving children aged 3-11. The experienced Executive Principal will be taking early retirement after a highly successful career and working with GAT for many years.

The building has ample spaces for different types of learning and has a large practical room for art and food technology-based activities. There are smaller rooms for more focused work and large playground and field spaces.

The academy is a welcoming, friendly and well-presented learning environment that delivers an engaging, broad and balanced curriculum to pupils from Nursery to Year 6. We are proud of our pupils who are expected to work hard and give their best. In return, the committed staff team provide high quality lessons that are purposeful and build on pupils’ knowledge and skills where they make the most of the Iatest technology.

The local GAT Corby cluster of successful primary and secondary academies support each other well and work closely together. There is a well-developed network built on trust and support.
