The University of Brighton Academies Trust is seeking an inspirational, strategic leader to realise our vision for Desmond Anderson Primary Academy; to achieve outstanding status and to improve the standards, attainment and aspirations of all its pupils.
Based in Tilgate, Crawley, Desmond Anderson is a dynamic, happy and welcoming school at the heart of its community. Catering for Reception to Year 6 children, it is an expanding school, which now has a published admissions number of 60 and will have a total capacity of 420 pupils. The academy also has a special facility for up to 20 pupils with autism and a nursery for children aged from 2 years.
This is a fantastic time to join the school. It received a Good rating from Ofsted in 2012 and converted to academy status with the University of Brighton Academies Trust in 2017. Our School Improvement team is working alongside the school to build on these good foundations so that the school and its pupils achieve their full potential.
We are seeking a Principal to help us achieve this vision, with the role providing an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the next stage in the development of the Academy.
