About us
The Mansfield Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust is a vibrant and caring school located in the Nottingham area where all staff aim to ensure pupils have the very best opportunities to achieve the best outcomes possible. It recently received a ‘good’ OFSTED (March 2018). It caters for pupils from Nursery to Year 6. Both the academy and the Trust are committed to improving the life chances of pupils.

The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum, blending academic achievement and progress with the life skills and compassion that pupils need to thrive in the modern world. You will also work to further improve standards across the Academy identifying areas for development through accurate evaluation and quality assurance whilst ensuring that Teaching and Learning are of a high standard.

Are you a leader who:
• Has relevant and up to date knowledge of teaching and learning strategies across the primary phase;
• Leads staff effectively to deliver high quality learning experiences for all pupils;
• Has a thorough understanding of factors that influence pupil performance and how to overcome barriers to learning;
• Has the drive and passion to ensure growth and significant improvements in the performance of all pupils;
• Has a leadership style that encourages innovation and confidence among staff;
• Has strong organisational skills and is relentlessness in instilling strategies to improve and raise standards in leadership and management as well as the quality of teaching and learning;
• Has significant experience of leading others and the ability to be able to set clear goals for staff performance and develop middle leadership;
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Has previously led a team of people through change and improvement.
