Seahaven Academy is a welcoming and successful academy for children aged 11-16. Located on the south coast, the school lies at the heart of its community in Newhaven. The Academy has a secure ethos and was judged by Ofsted to be good in every category in November 2021. Pupil numbers are increasing, reflective of the positive reputation of the school within the local community.
However, we know that there is still much to do to secure and sustain success at Seahaven Academy. This appointment will enable the new Principal to make their mark on the school from day 1 by investing in a strong curriculum, excellent teaching, a focus on excellent behaviour, ‘character education’, and highly effective pupil support. Under new leadership, we expect Seahaven Academy to undergo significant and sustained improvement in the years ahead.
