The TEAM Education Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and skilled professional to be the Principal at Stubbin Wood School & Nursery, based at the main site in Shirebrook and the role will cross all associated sites

Our ideal candidate might be looking for their first step to headship or be an experienced leader looking to take on a multi-sited specialist school setting; the ideal candidate we seek is an individual who will bring energy, passion and professional knowledge to our school.

Stubbin Wood School and Nursery has 185 brought places with a dedicated team of over 100 staff. The commissing arrangement spans four LAs currently. The school is split currently across two sites and has strong links with its co-located partners. In November a third site will open in Mansfield and will develop a further co-located relationship and strengthen the working partnership with Nottinghamshire LA.

The successful candidate will have strategic experience and the ability to inspire children and ensuring they are working with families and wider professionals, building on current relationships. We are looking for someone who is an outstanding classroom practitioner who recognises high quality pupil first teaching and learning and has high aspirations for young people with additional needs. We seek a candidate who will be keen to empower everyone to reach their full potential in our fully inclusive school and maintain the flagship Inclusion Quality Mark status.

We believe that the main role of our Principal is to raise standards for all by providing outstanding visible leadership. If you wish to apply for this role, we will be looking for you to bring high aspirations for learning and success into the classroom and that you will continue with the development of our motivated and ambitious team.

The TEAM Education Trust can offer the successful candidate the support to continue with the growth of the school, excellent renumeration and employment benefits as well as the potential for further career development. This role will have the opportunity to work at Trust level.
