About The Olive School, Hackney
The Olive School, Hackney a Muslim faith-based, primary school for 4 to 11 year olds, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in 2013 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted during our first inspection in May 2015.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an exceptional Principal to lead us on our journey of sustained excellence.
We want to hear from ambitious, talented senior leaders and established Principals who will bring inspirational leadership to our school. You will be highly motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with the natural ability to inspire and motivate both pupils and peers.
With substantial leadership experience as a Principal or Deputy, you will lead an approach that sees every challenge as an opportunity to continually improve standards of education and to foster an outstanding learning environment. As a Star leader, you’ll join the Star Academies family, a high-performing and supportive network of primary and secondary schools with some of the best leaders in education.
You will have:
• Evidence of training and relevant qualifications in educational and school leadership and management.
• Substantial experience of senior leadership and management within and across school settings
• Experience of successful leadership of change management within and across schools
• The ability to create, and secure commitment to, a clear vision for an effective and high achieving school.

The Olive School, Hackney is a 630 place Muslim faith based primary school. The school opened in September 2013 with 90 Reception and 90 Year 1 children. It will build up its pupil numbers year on year. It has a caring, inclusive ethos and welcomes applications from parents and pupils of all faiths and none. Like all Star schools, it has “Leadership” as a specialism.
Staff offer an inspirational and life-enhancing educational experience for all children. They work tirelessly to ensure that each and every child is nurtured, inspired, challenged and supported to succeed and develop their natural gifts and talents.
The Olive School, Hackney was assessed as “outstanding” in every category at its first Ofsted inspection in May 2015.
