Are you a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer seeking a new challenge?
We're looking for an exceptional individual to lead and manage our procurement function, ensuring we acquire goods, services, and works in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will play a key role in shaping our procurement strategies and policies, aligning them with our financial and operational goals. This is a new post and an exciting opportunity to join our growing Trust of 9 schools.
The role is expected to be self-funding through improved value for money in the procurement of goods and services, by generating savings versus budget and historical levels of costs.
The successful candidate will:
- make a major contribution to the effective and efficient running of the Trust, ensuring value for money in procurement, excellent customer service and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- work closely with the senior management team and play an integral role in ensuring the Trust operates within budget, by identifying and securing savings through effective procurement.
- be responsible for leading the development and delivery of an outstanding procurement service to support the Trust’s schools, ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods and services through effective supplier and contract management.
