Professional Co-ordinating Mentor job summary
We are looking for a Professional Coordinating Mentor in a school that offers excellent opportunities for professional development. William Perkin Church of England High School (Ofsted ‘Outstanding’) is one of four Twyford Trust schools, a successful multi-academy Trust based in the Borough of Ealing. We offer comprehensive CPD, exciting development opportunities and good promotion prospects for our teachers.
As the Professional Coordinating Mentor you will ensure training and support programmes for BTs, NQTs and mentors are outstanding, and that programmes for RQTs continue to provide outstanding professional development. Working closely with your Twyford Trust counterparts in other Trust schools, you will support SLT and Wider SLT in ensuring effective whole school staff training programmes. The Twyford Trust is the lead school in the Ealing Teaching School Alliance, and across the four Trust schools we employ approximately 30 NQTs and RQTs each year, along with around 10-12 School Direct trainees. We also host training placements for 30+ Beginning Teachers on PGCE programmes. This role is ideally suited to a candidate who combines successful classroom teaching experience with a contribution to driving consistency in whole school teaching and learning, and is an excellent development opportunity for a motivated and committed teacher who hopes to move to Senior Leadership at a later stage.
