Programme Leader of Art job summary
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified Programme Leader of Art to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Metropolitan Academy. We are a growing organisation, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
The successful applicant will lead the Art department. The department is currently made up of 3 teachers and a part time dedicated technician. We offer Art at KS3 with a focus on the use of different mediums and exploration of artists through project pieces. At GCSE we offer options classes in fine art, 3D art and Photography. We also have a vibrant and popular art club extra curricular where students can explore mediums and areas that we cannot fit into the curriculum.
This is a fixed term contract required from 04 January 2021 until 31 December 2021 or the return of the current post holder, whichever is sooner, to cover maternity leave.
