Property Maintenance Operative job summary

You will get involved in the vast number of site tasks that are performed in-house throughout the year. Repairs and maintenance, grounds works, moving heavy objects, setting out for exams, a vast range of skills - its is a very practical role. There is a lot of compliance work that has to be performed and carefully recorded.

Alongside this you will also work to towards obtaining a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative qualification through our training partner GLP Training Apprenticeships.

You will spend 4 days each week carrying our duties that will include basic maintenance & repairs, grounds work, site security, receiving and distribution of deliveries, liaising with contractors, and some cleaning.

You will spend 1 day each week on your independent study or online training work, at the school site.

Every 3 months you will spend 2 days off-site practical skills training with GLP Training Apprenticeships at their training site.
