What skills and experience we're looking for
The Pride Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated PSHE Teacher to join our school community. In this position you will deliver engaging lessons that equip students with essential life skills. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a commitment to student wellbeing, and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively plan lessons that are stimulating, relevant and well-structured
- Work with member of the Senior Leadership Team in the development, review and evaluation of the curriculum
- Organise a person-centred learning environment
- Maintain a practical understanding of service standards and Quality improvement initiatives relevant to the curriculum area
- Liaise with members of the suppose and therapeutic team and as appropriate with parents/carers in the support of learners
- Promote good student behaviour
