What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who:

  • Believes that children ‘surprise us daily’ if we let them.
  • Is self-driven to improve.
  • Enjoys working with parents and families in partnership, enabling children to succeed.
  • Is adaptable and flexible and can work well in a team.
  • Can work within an agreed framework of supervision to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities, for individuals/groups or whole classes on a short-term basis
  • Has experience of monitoring and assessment, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.
  • Will support the development of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Ensure support and guidance is provided for both pupils, staff and our wider community.
  • Has experience working with Primary age children (Foundation to Year 6)

Post Title: Pupil Engagement Worker

Salary: Scale Band F, Term Time Only

To start: Monday 5th June 2023 or sooner if available

37 hours per week with 1/2 hour lunch break, plus attendance at weekly PDM meetings and 5 inset days per year.
