We are looking for 1 x Pupil Welfare Support Assistant for Brookfields, Widnes and 1 x Pupil Welfare Support for Brookfields, Runcorn. 

At Brookfields we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and enthusiastic Pupil Welfare Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.

In this vital role, you will work closely with staff, pupils, and families to promote well-being, ensure safeguarding standards are met, and support pupils' emotional and physical health needs throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily welfare support to pupils, including responding to medical needs and emotional distress
  • Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure effective safeguarding practices
  • Support attendance monitoring and follow-up on concerns in collaboration with pastoral teams
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of pupil welfare
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of welfare-related policies and strategies

Actual Salary: £5,430 - £5,515 (Pay Award Pending)
