What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Qualified teacher status
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Ability to plan effectively in EYFS
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work.
  • Ability to maintain a quality environment both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to provide a challenging and stimulating learning environment with clearly focused learning objectives, which maximise the potential of children’s learning through play.
  • Ability to prepare resources for learning activities and displays.
  • Ability to make observations, assess and record children’s achievements.
  • Ability to write accurate and grammatically correct reports.
  • Ability to contribute to the maintenance of good standards of child behaviour within the school’s behaviour management policy.
  • Able to attend parent evenings, meetings and reviews as required.
  • Aware of health and safety requirements, first aid and emergency procedures
