What skills and experience we're looking for
An opportunity has arisen for three qualified teaching assistants to join our team at Water Leys Primary School. Are you that special someone who can make a difference to the lives of our children?
We are looking for someone special who can demonstrate that they have had a positive impact on the lives of pupils by supporting them academically, socially and emotionally. You will also have a good understanding of how to promote positive mental health and well-being.
You must be positive, flexible and have a can do attitude at all times.
The successful candidate will:
- Be committed to the safeguarding of all children;
- Enjoy working with children, motivating and enthusing them;
- Have a calm and caring manner;
- Have excellent communication skills;
- Have the ability to work using their own initiative;
- Be flexible, positive, a team-player and have a good sense of humour;
- Have the highest expectations for all of our children;
- Be willing to undertake any necessary training for the role.
As one of these full-time roles will be based in our FS2 base, we welcome applications from staff with experience of working with early years’ pupils.
