PRINCES RISBOROUGH SCHOOL
We have an exciting opportunity to join our successful, vibrant school community as a
RAISING ACHIEVEMENT OFFICER (6th FORM) & HEAD OF CAREERS
Start date – as soon as possible
37 hours per week, 40 working weeks per year (term time + 1 week in August for GCSE, A Level result days and 6th Form admission days)
Range 4 annual part time salary £21,520 to £23,285
(equivalent to £24,717 to £26,744 for full time)
About the role
The successful applicant will:
• Have the ability to build and maintain constructive and professional relationships with parents, students, staff, governors, external agencies and home tuition providers.
• Lead the planning, implementation and delivery of a strategy for developing a careers programme for the school.
• Provide appropriate Careers Information Advice and Guidance to members of the school community.
• Be part of an enthusiastic team and have a flexible approach to working.
• Have a good general level of education, have excellent communication skills and be flexible, adaptable and resourceful. Have good interpersonal skills, capable of interacting well with students, parents and other staff members.
