RE Teacher (Teacher of Religious Education) job summary

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate RE teacher to join our highly motivated and hard-working team. You should be an excellent classroom practitioner and have students at the heart of your decision making. You must have a confident understanding of the RE curriculum. We are looking for somebody who is creative and dynamic in the classroom and is able to engage a wide range of students. This role is also suitable for an ECT, who will benefit from a comprehensive range of support and guidance.
GCSE RE has become an increasingly popular option choice for the past three years, with 6 GCSE option classes currently running in Year 9-11 in 2021-22. Student outcomes at GCSE have increased from 66% to 83% since 2018 and we anticipate this continuing to rise in future years.
