What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a permanent Reading Intervention Practitioner for 27 hours per week to work within our friendly TA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering targeted reading and reading for comprehension interventions for small groups and individual students in Key Stage 3 and 4. The practitioner will work closely with the English department in delivering interventions that are aligned with the whole school reading strategy. We are looking for a colleague who has a genuine desire to help young people, has a flexible and positive approach and enjoys working as part of a team.
