Working pattern

Part time: Part Time: 7.5 hours per week / 1 day (Tuesday) In addition to the advertised regular working day of Tuesday each week, candidates must ensure they can attend mandatory training for this role. Training will be held over three to four days each week (Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday) during the weeks commencing 12th and 19th of May, totalling six to eight days. Unfortunately we cannot accept applications from candidates who cannot attend these sessions.

Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale E: £4,634 to £4,940 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£25,584 - £27,269 full time/full year equivalent)

What skills and experience we're looking for

Qualifications: • Good numeracy/literacy skills

Experience: • Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age

Skills, Knowledge: • Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning • Ability to use a range of relevant technology • Ability to evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities • Ability to relate well to children and adults • Knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of legislation • General understanding of National Curriculum and other basic learning programmes • Basic understanding of child development and learning • Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
