What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit an outstanding EYFS teacher with proven classroom experience and an excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework to join our dedicated and hard-working team of staff.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, teachers in the school and staff from other schools that make up the Eynsham Partnership Academy (EPA).

We currently have 205 children on roll and have a new building (including Reception classroom) to support the school expansion due to housing developments in the area. This is an exciting opportunity as this year may see our Reception class expand over two classes as our PAN has increased to 45.

Our ideal candidate will be

  • An excellent class teacher with successful experience of teaching in Early Years who loves working with children and inspires them to achieve high standards and realise their potential.
  • A great team player who can work successfully in collaboration with others and contribute towards the school ethos and its school improvement activities.
  • Ambitious and prepared to invest time in their own professional development so that they can become and remain an outstanding teacher and develop their career as part of an academy.
  • Able to make a significant contribution to the wider life of our School.
  • An outstanding, enthusiastic, forward thinking teacher.
  • Are innovative and creative in delivering outstanding lessons within an extremely positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Able to positively promote inclusion.
  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS Framework and a good understanding of how children learn effectively.

What the school offers its staff

We have a firm belief in ensuring you have access to excellent CPD opportunities and the support of our EPA Early Years Strategic Lead who works across our academy. We are passionate about providing high quality Early Years provision to ensure our children thrive and develop into responsible citizens, who reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.

We will invest in developing you as a teacher. As part of a growing academy, we can support you in developing leadership skills to take the next step in your career.

Commitment to safeguarding

Eynsham Partnership Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
