Reception Class Teacher job summary

We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Class Teacher to join our Early Years setting, teaching a class of Reception children at Hill Top Primary Academy.

As a Class Teacher at Hill Top Primary Academy, working within a supportive and responsive team you will deliver quality teaching to a class of Reception aged children. With a sound knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and an understanding of how children learn, you will play a fundamental part in the Early Years setting. Holding Qualified Teacher Status, you will have the passion to teach using a wide range of strategies and activities, with consideration to our pupils’ individual needs.

This position is suited for a newly qualified or experienced teacher. For newly qualified teachers, the school is able to offer excellent support and mentoring for new entrants to the profession.

Please note this position is offered on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave with the substantive postholder expected to return at Easter 2023.
