About the role:

We are looking to appoint an inspirational Class Teacher in either Reception or Year 1 who will be a motivational role model to our pupils to help them make rapid academic progress and enhance their social, emotional and cultural understanding.

 

In this role, you will be part of a committed and caring team to deliver the best possible education and offer wider support to the school community to have significant impact on our diverse and friendly pupils and families.

 

For suitable candidates, there is scope for additional subject or phase leadership responsibilities (including TLR), allowing you to take the next professional steps into leadership by offering expertise and accountability to a specific area of school. There is potential for this role to grow into an Early Years Leadership position in the future.

 

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.

 

Our ideal candidate will:

·         Be an excellent classroom practitioner who has experience of raising attainment

·         Be passionate about getting to know every child and use these relationships to offer a caring and personalised approach to learning

·         Have an understanding of the Early Learning Goals (ELGs) to allow for teaching to be built from pupils’ prior knowledge and skills

·         Share the Ark Bentworth values and mission to positively influence our pupils

·         Have good communication, organisation and adaptability skills.

Ark Bentworth is a one-form entry school located near White City in Zone 2. It is connected by multiple tube and overground lines to White City, Wood Lane and Shepherd’s Bush. Our Victorian building is situated on a quiet road offering an intimate and community-focused teaching experience.
