Stepney Primary School, which is part of the Thrive Cooperative Learning Trust, is looking to appoint a keen, enthusiastic Reception teacher to cover a maternity leave position. Located near to the centre of Hull, we are a vibrant multicultural school with high aspirations for our pupils. Set in a Victorian building, the successful candidate will be part of a hard-working and dedicated team of staff. The Team ethos is strong among us, as is our commitment to developing each child.
We are looking for a Reception teacher who will work Monday to Wednesday as a job share, with a sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and, in particular, Early Years Phonics/Reading. They should be creative and also well-organised. Working alongside experienced support staff, the successful candidate will enhance our Early Years team. Under the direction of the Lower School Coordinator, they will be responsible for high quality provision within our setting. Good communication skills are essential and an outgoing personality is equally comfortable talking to children, parents and colleagues is essential.
