Are you passionate about Teaching Early Years?
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person who will take pride in being part of a team of St Mary's Teachers that delivers excellent lessons and instils a love of learning in keen learners?
Teaching positions at St Mary's do not come up very often and it is a wonderful school and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their teaching and help develop the provision for our youngest children.
This is a permanent role starting from September 2024.
About us
St Mary's Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy is a single form Primary school and does not have a nursery. The school is located in Brigg (North Lincolnshire). We are an Ofsted-rated Good school.
We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
You will:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have previous experience working as a Reception/ EYFS teacher in a Primary School setting.
- Have good understanding of the Early Years Framework and Early Learning Goals.
- Be able to lead and work in collaboration with a dedicated team of Reception staff.
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
- Have a passion for working with young people.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
- Use innovative and resourceful teaching methods.
