We are expanding our excellent team and we are seeking to appoint a focused and caring teaching assistant to work at Roundhill Primary School.
Roundhill Primary is set on the outskirts of Bath and we serve our strong local community. We are currently undergoing a period of strong school improvement and are looking for people to join us and make a difference to our amazing children. Our school is large, having previously compromised two separate infant and junior sites, we have lots of green outdoor spaces.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and inclusive team as a Teaching Assistant working with children in small groups, individually and within the classroom across our EYFS unit (including possible time in nursery). This will be as part of a team of adults and working to support an individual child with an EHCP and additional needs will be included within this role.
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children with additional needs in their learning and wellbeing, as well as being a positive, professional and collaborative member of our superb staff team. Ideally the candidate would have experience of supporting children with additional needs to accelerate their learning.
We warmly welcome visits and calls to the school to find out more about us or the role.
Please contact our Office Manager, Amy Isherwood via email: office@roundhill-pri.co.uk to arrange a tour or a call.

Roundhill Primary School is set on the south west side of the city of Bath serving the local wards of Southdown, Whiteway and Twerton. Roundhill Primary was formed in 2015, as a result of amalgamation of Southdown Infants and Southdown Juniors. Since then we have had major refurbishment of the buildings and the school provides a spacious, well-resourced learning environment. The school is set in extensive, attractive grounds, which make a significant contribution to our curriculum and after school provision. We have excellent nursery provision for two year olds and our three year old provision is within our integrated Foundation Stage Unit.
In December 2018, we joined The Partnership Trust, which is a multi-academy trust.
Roundhill is a welcoming, positive and happy school community. We are a growing, diverse and inclusive community school, providing exciting, broad and creative learning opportunities for all pupils. Our children are well behaved, happy and eager to learn from all experiences. We have strong links with our local churches and community groups to provide support for our families.
We are a committed, friendly and supportive staff team aiming for excellence for all. We have an experienced leadership team who support high quality professional development. We are looking for applicants with commitment and passion to educating the whole child and maintaining very high standards in teaching and learning.
