About Wroxall Primary School

Wroxall is a small village primary school consisting of 5 mixed-age classes. We pride ourselves on our CARE values (Challenge, Achievement, Resilience and Respect) and we have grand plans for the future in a rapidly developing school. Substantial building work is now almost completed. The £2,000,000 development has transformed the facilities available for children and staff within school. This includes: newly built or refurbished classrooms throughout the school; an expanded school hall; the addition of a Food Tech room and several additional learning areas.
In addition, there are plans to develop the outside environments across the whole school to enhance outdoor teaching and learning. Wroxall is fortunate to be a 2-11 provision school. Our preschool is an integral part of the school community providing education to the nursery children from 2yrs and enabling a close working partnership with Reception.

Wroxall Primary School is an exciting place to be right now, with committed staff supporting its development as a forward thinking fully inclusive school. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their teaching skills; to be proactive in raising standards of attainment and to embody our vision of providing the very best for each and every pupil. We are seeking an excellent teacher who has energy, enthusiasm, drive and dedication to join our team, supporting quality outcomes for all the children.

The role currently advertised offers the opportunity to be pivotal in developing the school’s EYFS provision by shaping the learning environment, teaching and learning for children joining us in September 2021 and for those who need to consolidate their early years learning and transition into KS1. Working as part of a supportive, hardworking and encouraging team, opportunities to access quality CPD will be provided. The school is a reflective environment and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a strong team ethos focused on improvement.
