Come and join our growing team and be part of the successful ‘Broad Horizons Education Trust’. Bure Park Specialist Academy is the sister school to Eaton Hall Specialist Academy in Norwich which has an Ofsted rating of Outstanding for the last ten years.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join us at our school in Great Yarmouth, Bure Park Specialist Academy. Bure Park will be a sister school to Eaton Hall Specialist Academy in Norwich which has been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted for over ten years.
Bure Park Specialist Academy is a residential special school for boys in the age range 6 – 16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The school teaches pupils from primary through to secondary.
This is a newly built residential special school for boys with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. It will, over its first two years, grow to 88 pupils.

The role of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is fundamental in supporting the smooth running of the school.
Personal qualities are of paramount importance, and the individual appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. They must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team. The school office is a very busy and fast paced environment. Staff are expected to help out where necessary and be able to prioritise their own work effectively.
Applicants should have very good interpersonal skills; good general knowledge of ICT and data based applications, word processing, spreadsheet and general office skills. These are essential to enable the post holder to carry out the demands of the role.
Previous experience of working in a school office is desirable but not essential.
Your purpose of the role will be to provide outstanding administration support to the school team.
The role is 14 hours per week, Monday and Tuesday 8:30am-4:00pm
