Receptionist/Administrator
We have a vacancy for a Receptionist/Administration Assistant in our vibrant multicultural town school. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing or aspiring receptionist/administrator to join our dynamic team.
The main tasks will be meeting and greeting parents and visitors, dealing with pupil queries and being a friendly and welcoming face for everyone using the school. The post will cover a wide range of reception and administrative duties including dealing with enquiries from parents, carers and other stakeholders, both in person and on the telephone; receiving and distributing incoming goods; stock taking; assisting the general office; preparing correspondence to parents and carers; photocopying; organising school lunches; administering, when necessary, medicine to children; hosting; the collection of money and the completion of records.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and innovative with excellent interpersonal skills and good standards of numeracy and literacy. Experience of using Microsoft word and excel would be an advantage as would any prior experience of SIMS, but training will be given. You will be willing to gain a First Aid qualification and undergo any training deemed necessary for your role. If you can cope with changing priorities and greet constant interruptions with a smile, then this may be the job for you.
