What skills and experience we're looking for

Knowledge & Experience

Excellent administrative and organisational skills

Experience of using Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word or Google workspace

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

Excellent telephone skills

Experience of dealing with the public through the telephone and face to face contact

Good standard of spoken English

Experience within a school office and/or reception

Knowledge of SIMS and / or experience of using databases

Experience of managing a webpage, Facebook and/or social media

Experience of using various types of office equipment including photocopiers, laminators, scanners, binding machines

The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator for South Hylton Primary with effect from 1st September 2024.
