Receptionist job summary
We are seeking to appoint a part-time Receptionist to work as part of the admin team at Iford Academy. The hours of work will be Thursday and Friday either 8.00 - 3.30 or 8.30 - 4.00.
Reception duties include, receiving visitors, high volume phone calls, recording attendance, co-ordinating school transport and school meals and other general admin duties. The post holder for this role will work closely with all administration team members and offer support where necessary. Excellent administration and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to be flexible if required. The post involves the use of all Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word, and SIMS (training will be provided), as well as regular contact with pupils, parents/carers, professionals and outside agencies. Candidates need to possess a calm and polite telephone manner and be able to work well under pressure.
