Receptionist and Administrator job summary

Dedworth Middle School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic School Receptionist and Administrator to join our busy school office team due to an internal promotion. This is a term-time only position that offers a unique opportunity to be the face and voice of our vibrant school community.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors, pupils, staff, and parents in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.

Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly, ensuring accurate and efficient communication.

Maintain the school's central reception area, ensuring it is tidy, presentable, and welcoming.

Perform general administrative tasks.

Assist pupils who come to the office and provide a first aid service for pupils and staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

High energy levels and the ability to cope well under pressure.

A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and excellent interpersonal skills.

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

First aid qualification or willingness to undergo training.

Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of office software and email systems.
