Receptionist job summary

To provide a helpful, supportive and friendly service to students, visitors, staff and parents and to carry out various administrative tasks

Personal Responsibilities

To play a full part in the life of the School community, to support its distinctive mission and ethos

Manages all elements of reception including monitoring security cameras, gates, car park barrier and seeing visitors on-site.

Manage visitors, trust and cleaners signing in and lanyards

Manage the SCR information for regular external visitors

Deal with queries from parents/carers and visitors Answer telephone queries

First Aider (preferable)

Book taxis when required for pupils

Organise assembly registers for assembly days

Manage faculty and SLT pigeon holes ensuring always up to date and emptied regularly

Manage the updating of whole school staff telephone list

Manage deliveries and school post including sorting and franking

Managing all ordering of stationary for office, including backing paper for main corridors

Manage reception area displays and other areas when required

Managing and printing of staff and student ID cards

Ensuring the reception area is well maintained at all times

Manage school mail email account Managing parental requests for updates on Bromcom

Organize refreshments for specific events when required

Any admin duties which require assistance Additional duties:
