Receptionist Part Time Two Days Per Wek job summary
1. JOB PURPOSE
To assist in the
administration of reception duties and the provision of efficient support
within the admin team.
1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Reception
Provide a prompt, professional and welcoming reception service to all internal and external customers.
Answer
telephone calls, assisting callers where possible, contacting staff and
conveying messages in a clear and timely manner
Ensure
that the reception area is welcoming to all students, staff and visitors.
Undertake all duties associated with internal and external mail.
A Administration
· Undertake specific duties as instructed by line manager. These duties may include:
Ø Duty calls
Ø Collating and inputting information
Ø Producing reports
Ø Sending text messages
Ø Booking taxis
Ø Logging achievement points
· Assist with student/staff first aid.
· Use SIMS database and mail merge.
S Support for the School
· Be
aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection,
health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all
concerns to an appropriate person.
· Be aware of and support difference and ensure all students have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
· Act as a role model to promote whole school policies.
· Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
· Appreciate and support the role of other professionals.
· Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.
· Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
· Support, uphold and contribute to the development of the school's equality policy and practices in respect of both employment issues and the delivery of services to the community.
· Ensure effective communication in all aspects of the role.
