Huntingtower Community Primary Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Recovery Learning Support Assistant to join our team. We are a primary school (4-11 year olds) situated in the west part of Grantham and part of the successful Priory Federation of Academies Trust. Our Learning Strategies Assistant plays a vital within our academy. The role will involve supporting the Head of Learning Strategies in matters concerning the students with specific academic needs and social adjustments as well as carrying out observations to support and monitor student progress. The role will be 8 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday afternoon until the end of the academic year.
The successful applicant will have experience working with students and have knowledge and understanding of student intervention techniques. GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent and a Level 2 IT qualification or have experience is essential. An NVQ level 3 qualification or working towards is desirable.
