Recovery Teacher - Y5 and Y6 job summary
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and flexible teacher from February 2022 to plan, teach and use assessment to close gaps in learning for targeted groups of children. This may take the form of consistent ‘booster’ groups with children from Years 6 and 5.
You will have a secure knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and Age Related Expectations for the end of Key Stage 2. You will have high expectations for pupils’ achievement and the skills to differentiate teaching and learning for pupils of all abilities and needs. Key to the role is the ability to identify gaps in or barriers to learning and address these to secure understanding in an efficient and effective manner.
