About the Role
As Reflection Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the behaviour, attendance, and personal development of our students. You will work closely with Heads of Year, the safeguarding team, and wider pastoral staff to ensure our students are supported both emotionally and academically. You will be a visible presence throughout the day – supporting behaviour interventions, liaising with families, leading internal reflection and removal provisions, and helping our students re-engage with learning.
This role is pivotal to maintaining a calm, safe, and supportive environment in which every student can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for pastoral concerns from students, parents, and carers
- Support Heads of Year in managing student behaviour, attendance, and punctuality
- Supervise students in internal isolation and contribute to removal room staffing
- Coordinate detentions and behaviour intervention strategies
- Monitor student equipment, uniform, and pastoral interventions
- Support the delivery of after-school provision and behaviour mentoring
- Be a visible presence during breaktimes, lesson changeovers, and throughout the day
- Contribute to school events and work with SLT and wider pastoral staff to promote student well-being and aspiration
- Maintain accurate records using SIMS, CPOMS, and Class Charts
- Promote and uphold safeguarding practices at all times
About You

- Experienced in working with young people and/or families
