What skills and experience we're looking for
Northern Education Trust is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious teachers to provide regional cover to continue the upward trend in improving student outcomes.
Based in the Tees Valley area, Trust regional cover teachers will provide cover and will be asked to cover for short and medium term absences, this will allow teaching for pupils to be seamless and ensure the best quality of educational provision. The successful applicant for the post will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum in a thorough and inspiring way.
The successful candidate will:
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
- Fulfil wider professional responsibilities
