What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Estates Business Partner this post holder will be accountable for:
- Working at any of the E-ACT Daventry academy sites and on occasion at our sites in London and Buckinghamshire, as required.
- Ensuring all areas are prepared professionally before painting and cleaning after tasks have been completed (including moving furniture and equipment as required).
- Ordering painting materials in accordance with E-ACT procurement procedures
- Undertaking replacement and routine repairs and minor maintenance work as part of the preparation for painting.
- Undertaking PASMA training to undertake painting at height as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant maintenance/trade qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and how they apply in a school environment.
- Experience of a range of painting and decorating duties.
- Knowledge of building cleaning standards.

Job Title:Regional Painter
Location:Daventry, with occasional travel to London and Buckinghamshire
Are you looking to further your career? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about painting and decorating. This role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills.
The role is to provide a painting and decorating service to E-ACT academies in the Daventry area, with occasional coverage in the London and Buckinghamshire regions where required. The role will primarily involve the relevant preparation and painting ofcorridors, classrooms, communal areas, toilets and offices in academies across the region as directed by the Estates Business Partner. The role is full time and permanent, and we are looking for the successful candidate to commence employment as soon as possible.
Pay range:
SCP 16 - SCP 20 (£28,282- £30,296 per annum) with an Inner/Fringe weighting allowance depending on location (£1,000 Fringe or £4,000 Inner London Weighting).
