What we are looking for
We are seeking to appoint someone who really wants to make a difference in young peoples’ lives. The Reset Manager is responsible for the effective operation of the school’s Reset (Inclusion) Centre, in line with the Trust Behaviour and Relationships Policy, whilst being able to work effectively with young people to enhance their behaviour.
The post holder will ensure the Reset area is fully operational each day to receive any students who have been referred from class. They will reinforce and role model high expectations for every student and ensure these are adhered to at all times. They will create an environment characterised by tolerance and respect, with clear boundaries and routines at its centre. They will develop systems of tracking and support for repeat referrals to ensure students are triaged appropriately to access the support required to help them successfully meet expectations.
They will be a successful communicator with young people, able to connect with them, identify and break down barriers to ensure student success in school. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving the life chances of students and hold a genuine belief that all children are capable of being the best versions of themselves both academically and personally.
This is a permanent, 37 hours per week, term time plus two days contract, equating to 192 working days per year.
