  • 30 hours per week as a teaching assistant, with a separate contract for 2.5 hours per week as a midday supervisor. Term time only, 38 weeks a year. Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 3.30 pm There could be some flexibility on start and end times for the right candidate.

Further details about the role

We have a successful Resource Base situated within our lovely school. Our Resource Base provides the opportunityfor children with an EHCP with a primary need of communication and interaction to have their needs met in specialist provision whilst maintaining the benefits of accessing a mainstream setting, as and when appropriate.

Our Resouce Base has places for up to 20 children in two classes. We have a super staff team. All staff work really closely to benefit all pupils. We are on a positive journey to becoming a ‘great’ school, and need some more ‘great’ new staff to join our team.

First and foremost, we want to recruit staff who are highly motivated, flexible, determined to understand and celebrate all pupils and have a particular interest in special needs. Experience or knowledge of supporting children with special educational needs in a school, other environment or personallyis welcome but not essential as training will be provided on the job and through other CPD opportunities.
