Resource Provision Manager job summary
St. Margaret’s CofE Primary School is extremely excited to be opening its Resource Provision in the Autumn of 2021 and are looking for skilled and dedicated staff to join us at the beginning of this journey.
We are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Resource Provision Manager from September 2021 on a permanent contract.
The new Resource Provision will provide an excellent learning environment for an additional 12 children who have complex communication difficulties including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and who have an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan).
The successful candidate will:
• Determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision in the Resource Provision, ensuring effective implementation of the SEN Code of Practice
• Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability who are on the register of the Resource Provision
• Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies
• Facilitate and encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve high standards
• Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for their children
• Is committed to CPD for themselves and others.
• Has a sense of humour
• Is an enthusiastic and imaginative individual, who will create a stimulating and vibrant learning environment
