Due to staff progression, Stevenage ESC is currently recruiting for a strong and charismatic individual to lead our Restart Programme and support the Centre as an HLTA working with our KS3 and KS4 pupils.
The ESC works with young people who have been excluded or at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream schools. Our job is to re-engage them with education so that they can have a successful future. Our Restart Programme is an afternoon programme where we work with a group of students from Stevenage mainstream schools.
To be successful in this role, the applicant must be a strong team player who can work off their own initiative whilst remaining a confident, empathetic and positive character in the Centre. This role would suit a recent graduate as a stepping stone in to teaching.
