Moulton School is a warm, welcoming and hardworking school community, striving for excellence in all that we do. We want our students to leave school having maximised their academic progress, but also with fond memories of the breadth of opportunities taken, the relationships made, and the experiences enjoyed; for example, through our flagship student leadership programme.
Situated five miles from Northampton and close to the M1, Moulton is a peaceful location with close proximity to the modern conveniences of town living .
Moulton School is built on a commitment to academic excellence and the highest of personal standards, within an environment which provides each individual with the care, support and encouragement that they need to succeed. We pride ourselves on traditional values, such as hard work and discipline, whilst preparing young people for all the challenges of life in the 21st century.
Our students are committed to their learning, and we have the highest of expectations of them, both academically, and in the character that they demonstrate as they grow and develop. Our core values and ethos statement “ASPIRE – Strive for Great Things” sets the tone, both for our expectations, and for the achievements that we are able to celebrate.
Students are encouraged to become highly motivated, independent learners and are able to learn through differentiated learning activities. This allows them to develop high levels of knowledge, skills and technological understanding. Students’ work is carefully monitored and assessed regularly and they are involved in target setting.
Our success is built on partnership and we are very fortunate in the high quality of staff who care for and guide the students through their time at Moulton challenging them at every step to become the young people that they can be.
We are, as you may imagine, very proud of our students.

There are also various training routes for staff to follow including.
• Training School Network Programme
• New staff and ECT induction programme in-house and as part of the SWAN network
• Year 2 Teachers’ Programme
• Middle Leaders’ Programme
• Subject Leader and Senior Leadership qualifications (NPQSL) (NPQML)
Many staff take part in regular subject specific training, and staff I specialist roles may attend external training courses run by specialists in areas such as pastoral care, First Aid, mental health and wellbeing, MAGT and challenge.
