We are seeking to appoint a professional, well-educated and enthusiastic colleague for the above role. Applicants should be flexible, able to work on their own initiative, under pressure and have the ability to prioritise to meet demands and deadlines.
This is a varied role giving professional support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. The successful applicant will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment of children.
Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but it is more important that you are a strong administrator with excellent organisational skills and experience of working with young people, preferably with a strong background of child protection work.
Applicants must have excellent IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be able to quickly develop proficiency in school systems and databases.
Effective communication skills and flexibility together with sound spoken and written English are essential. A working knowledge of SIMS would be advantageous.
The closing date for applications is 9am on Friday 22nd September 2023. Interviews will be held on Monday 25th September 2023.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
CVs will not be accepted for any posts based in the school.
Early applications are welcomed and we reserve the right to interview early should a suitable candidate apply. Please note this vacancy will close when an appointment has been made and without further notice.
