Working pattern

Full time: 37 hours per week, 8.00am – 4pm Monday – Thursday and 8.00am – 3.30pm on Fridays, 42 weeks per year.

What skills and experience we're looking for

You will be integral to our pastoral structure and you will join our Safeguarding Management team to manage and deliver pastoral care and support to our most vulnerable students.

To be successful in this role, you will be a good communicator who is committed to the welfare of our students. You will have the ability to liaise effectively with both school staff, families and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.

You will have previous experience of working with vulnerable or socially disadvantaged students and their families.

This role may involve some out of hours appointments so some flexibility to core hours will be necessary. You will be required to attend home visits on occasions therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous.
