Safeguarding Officer job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our school for a Safeguarding Officer. The successful candidate will be part of our pastoral team and play a key role in the ongoing development of the school.

Safeguarding children is at the heart of the schools’ ethos and it will be part of your role to inform, educate and support staff in knowing how to respond to potential concerns. You will need to be an effective communicator at all levels and able to work with pupils, staff, parents, stakeholders and external agencies. You will be a focused, organised and passionate individual who can ensure all safeguarding measures and procedures are in place.

This role will be ideal for candidates with experience of working in safeguarding and pastoral support within education, or who have experience within a related field
