What skills and experience we're looking for

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Safeguarding Officer to join the team at Hamp Academy on a 12-month fixed term basis.

We are looking for an organised and professional individual who can support our Designated Safeguarding Lead in all safeguarding matters across the school.

You will be confident with young people and staff as a first point of contact for all safeguarding issues. You will have a knowledge and understanding of child protection, including supporting our families in keeping their children safe.

The ability to be self-motivated and pro-active is essential as the right candidate will need to be able to prioritise their own workload.

The successful candidate will be supported and be provided ongoing training and development to assist them in their role.

Our employees benefit from a generous local government pension scheme plus an Employee Rewards scheme – High Street discounts, Staff Wellbeing centre.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss the role further, please contact the HR team at recruitment@btc-trust.org or call 01278 618380.

Closing date for applications: Midnight, Thursday 15th August 2024.
