SAFEGUARDING OFFICER job summary
The Directors are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer to support our Designated Safeguarding Lead in ensuring high levels of safeguarding are in place for pupils at our Academy.
The post is permanent, full time (37 hours per week), full year. Hours of work each day are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.20 am to 4.15 pm and on Thursday from 8.20 am to 3.20 pm – with 20 minutes for lunch each day. The post is paid on Grade G (Points 25-28) of the new NJC salary scale – the approximate actual starting salary on Point 25 is £28,785. Annual leave entitlement is 25 days per year, requiring these to be taken in school holiday time only.
