In this rewarding role, you’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons, shape a positive learning environment, and actively support student progress and well-being.
As a key part of our growing and thriving team, you’ll plan lessons tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners, set clear objectives, and regularly assess their development.
You’ll also collaborate with colleagues, engage with parents, and contribute to our school’s community, supporting the ethos and values that make our school unique and exceptional.
What will you do?
- Deliver the curriculum, prepare teaching materials, and ensure high standards of literacy and student progress.
- Establish a safe and stimulating environment, manage classroom behavior, and promote student well-being.
- Use assessment data to monitor student progress, set targets, and plan lessons.
- Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and communicate effectively with parents and external bodies.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.
What are we looking for?
- Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
- Able to work independently, collaboratively and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents and carers
- Ability to create and maintain professional working relationships
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students

Avanti Court Primary School is an Academy for children aged 3–11. The school is a three-form entry, mixed primary school with an attached nursery with over 600 children on roll.
Avanti Schools support each person’s life journey along three parallel paths: Educational excellence; Character formation; and Spiritual insight.
